2017 Illinois Division CN/IC Santa Train
Unlike the GTW/CN Michigan Division Santa Train, this event IS open to the public!
The CN IC Santa train has been a decades long Christmas tradition. At each stop, Santa welcomes you to visit with him and receive a gift bag full of Christmas treats (generously donated by the sponsor town) and railroad trinkets. Then you can walk through the restored vintage train cars and see the inside of a locomotive. It is absolutely free and all are welcome. All times are target times. While they strive to maintain a tight schedule, the railroads operations prevail, which may cause delays to the Santa Train at any or all stations. THEY will NOT depart any station without all the waiting children getting to visit with Santa Claus first. Find More Information on Illinois Santa Train on Facebook

2017 Michigan Division GTW/CN Santa Train
**Note** - This event is only for Current and Retired GTW/CN Employees and their families.
And people always ask...if it's not available to the public, why are we posting the schedules on Facebook, and other web sites, that the public has access to. Well, believe it or not, there are many GTW/CN Employees and of course many non-employees that just want to see the Santa Train. |
